Clown Beginnings

Clueless & Soda Somethin'

Soda's hair has changed since this photo to multicolor. It takes approximately two to three years to finalize your clown look. I will post current pictures and a clown make up tutorial  soon.

This is a shot of me (Clueless) when I was using blue on my mouth. I have since changed this because, on the advice of a senior clown, it is not the best idea to use this color around one's mouth because it scares children. This had not been my experience but I nevertheless did take the advice. I now outline a portion of my white with the blue.

CBC Clown Troupe is located in Clarkson, Ky.  We belong to the Clarkson Baptist Church and are committed to sharing the love of Jesus Christ through our ministry. We are available to work at any appropriate function in which we can share Jesus love with those we encounter.
My clown name is Potterclod but most people call me Clueless because I seem to forget things easily. I teach clowning at conferences in Kentucky through the Kentucky Baptist Creative Ministries Conferences and 101 Trainings. I have also taught at the Creations Conference in Gatlinburg Tennessee.  I am available to help local churches to establish a clown ministry in their local church. I can be contacted through my local church.
I was lead to start clowning in my local church in 1998. I soon began to work with my troupe at local festivals to share Jesus with our community. We do clown skit/ interps that speak a gospel message. We have some folks from our church that come to help witness to the crowd after we have finished one of our skit/ interps. We also work the crowds with tracts and witnessing on an individual basis.
